Here is my finished front cover for my Aquinas magazine. Created on publisher I will be using this as this weeks issue on the magazine, and then getting feedback in a questionaire on weather it looks good and if I have acheived what I aimed on it. I have tried to create a clear house style, include all the correct conventions and make it look as appealing as possible to the audience.
In this task we had to analyse three different contents pages of magazines. The work we did explained the links and similarities between all three, and then we also looked at the differences which make them origional to any other contents page. It gave us good awareness of how a contents should look when I come to making my own. In this task we had to complete a rough sketch on publisher of what we would expect our magazine front cover to look like when I come to making the real thing. It includes all the correct conventions and where certain things should be positioned on a magazine front cover. In this task we had to complete a contact sheet showing all the elliagble and not to elligable pictures weve taken to eventually produce them on to my Aquinas magazine. This document shows the feedback which we got off the audience when finding out about what key factors we should be including in the magazine we would later make. Using a pie chart we can get a clear indication of what we should and shouldnt include, giving us a better direction when it comes to ma In this task we had to come up with around 10 questions which would find us important informtation about our magazine we will be creating. The questions which we got answered by the target audience would eventually help us manufactor the magazine, as it gave us a great in sight into what would appeal to the consumers and what wouldnt. Some of the questions were based on appearance, some special features within the ma For this task we were asked to take three photo's, all containing the rule of three theory. The rule of three is when the focus of the image is on either the left side or right side of the image. In these images we have a right framed image first, then a centre framed image secondly and a left framed image third. All the images are to show the main focus on either side of the image, as well as having a centre framed one. This is a task we had to complete by taking our own personal pictures, getting the different camera angles and shots that were requested. This post shows each camera angle we took, an explanation of the pictures and whats h This is a task we had to complete to familiarise ourselfs with media language, using all the key terms and conventions |
